écru was founded in 2012 by Simona Bertoletti, Filippo Cavalli, Antonello A. Sportillo and Giulio Viglioli. Écru believes in style of method. Écru’s method is based on theory, but it doesn’t follow a theoretically approach well delineated into the history of architecture. A method that would be a possible approach and
is wavering between arts and technique, between poetry and truth, between abstraction and reality. A consinstent, seriuos and modest method of making architecture. Architecture, here, is nowhere or is everywhere. The works of écru stand out in National and International competitions winning awards and mentions.
